About BARS-2 Company
The scientific and production company BARS-2 BASCO® trademark is a leader in masterbatch production for coloring and modification of polymers in Russia.
The company was founded in 1992 in St.Petersburg and now has three production plants in Russia. Today BARS-2 is among the top twenty producers of masterbatches in Europe with an annual throughput of 40,000 tons.
The quality system is based on 30 years of experience, successful integration of research and development methods, input control of raw materials, key properties control during production and quality control of the final product.

Halogen-Free Flame Retardant (Intumescent) Compound BASCO® BTK-04
For all production facilities that require effective and safe fire protection of plastic products, we offer a halogen-free flame retardant intumescent compound BASCO® BTK-04. Intumescent flame retardants expand under the influence of high temperatures and flames, increase their volume and form a solid foam. This creates a barrier to oxygen and provides thermal protection properties; no toxic flue gases are emitted.
