Plastic sheets

Plastic sheets

The production of plastic sheets has been established for a very long time. Today, manufacturing engineers make plastic sheets from polymer raw materials of different densities. The density determines the thickness and weight of the plastic sheet, as well as its technical properties.

First, we would like to highlight the increased tear strength and ductility. The reliability of plastic sheets lies in the fact that even severe impact loads will not cause any cracks. In other words, this sheet will stand up well to all temperature conditions (cabinets and refrigerator doors).

It would be wrong not to mention chemical resistance. No UV or thermal oxidation will be an issue if UV stabilisers are added.

PP, PE and PS foams are used for thermal insulation in construction, e.g. thermal insulation sheets and boards, billboards. They are also used in food and industrial packaging, such as disposable tableware.

Foaming is usually done by adding a foam-forming gas (CO2, freon, isobutane) to the melt. The foam structure is adjusted by adding fine talcum as a nucleating agent and a chemical foaming agent, which decomposes at processing temperatures and releases a counter flow of gas, providing a finer cell structure (active nucleation).

Correx tape, Correx packaging solutions or Correx is one of modern packaging types for a variety of tasks involving the packaging of goods for individual or group use.

We offer a wide range of BASCO® masterbatches, modifiers and processing aids for the manufacture of various products, depending on the polymer used.
