Masterbatch is the common name for pigment concentrates, colorants and modifying additives. The name comes from the term masterbatch, i.e. concentrate, providing coloring and modification of polymer products. Russian company BARS-2 develops and manufactures masterbatches (analogs of imported masterbatches) under BASCO® trademark.

White color masterbatches

Manufactured using both high-quality titanium dioxide by Kronos (Germany) or DuPont (USA) and local titanium dioxide. White masterbatches are used for coloring of products manufactured by extrusion, blow molding or injection molding.

Black color masterbatches

Contain up to 50% high-quality carbon black, have good opacity and a deep black color. Black masterbatch is intended for coloring of polyolefin products manufactured by extrusion, blow molding or injection molding.

Color masterbatches

BASCO® color masterbatches are used for coloring of products made of LDPE, HDPE, PP, EVA, GPPS, HIPS, ABS, SAN, ABS + PC, ABS + TPU, TPU, TPE, PMMA by injection molding, blow molding or extrusion methods.

Masterbatches are manufactured according to the existing range of products or can be developed
at the request of the customer in the shortest possible time in accordance with international RAL, PANTONE color catalogs or customer’s color reference, taking into account the operating conditions of the finished products.
